Over the past year, the share of daily users of the Telegram messenger in Russia has grown by more than 20%, which is almost half of the country’s entire population over 12 years of age, RBC reported citing a Mediascope study. With an average daily coverage of 47%, Telegram ranks fourth in popularity among Internet resources in Russia, behind WhatsApp (61%), Yandex (56%) and Google (53%).
