Static Linux distribution prepared as an image for UEFI

A new distribution of Static Linux has been prepared, based on Alpine Linux, musl libc and BusyBox, and notable for being delivered as an image that runs from RAM and boots directly from UEFI. The image includes the JWM window manager, Firefox, Transmission, data recovery utilities ddrescue, testdisk, photorec. At the moment, 210 packages are statically assembled, but they plan to increase their number in the future.

The kernel and root file system are packaged into a single file to run on UEFI boot systems (Secure Boot is not supported). To install, just download the bootx64.efi file (222 MB) and place it on a FAT32-formatted drive in the X:/efi/boot/bootx64.efi directory. Additionally, a version with a graphical environment based on Wayland (156 MB) has been prepared, which uses the Linux 6.0.3 kernel, labwc, yambar, weston-terminal, mpv, and libinput without udev.
