EA Access Coming to PlayStation 4 in July

EA Access provides access to the Electronic Arts games catalog for a monthly fee. In addition, subscribers can expect a 10% discount on all digital releases of the publisher, including full games and add-ons, as well as the opportunity to play new projects a few days before their release.

The service has been available on Xbox One for almost five years, and on PC there is a slightly different and expanded version of it - Origin Access. However, Sony has been ditching third-party services on its console for a long time. Perhaps the company looked at the success of Xbox Game Pass, which Microsoft launched on Xbox One two years ago, and changed its mind. Meanwhile, Sony is developing the PlayStation Now streaming service for PC and PlayStation 4. It provides access to a library of projects from PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4.

The EA Access game library on Xbox One includes FIFA 18, Star Wars Battlefront II, Titanium case 2, Battlefield 1, Mass Effect Andromeda and much more. Probably, PlayStation 4 users will get access to a similar list, but without projects of the past generation.
