Activision Blizzard and Treyarch have unveiled the details of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War multiplayer, set in the XNUMXs during the Cold War.
The developer has listed several maps that will be available to players in the multiplayer mode. Among them are the desert of Angola (Satellite), the frozen lakes of Uzbekistan (Crossroads), the streets of Miami (Miami), the icy North Atlantic waters (Armada) and the capital of the USSR (Moscow). All maps have been inspired by real places carefully studied by Treyarch staff.
Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War will feature Team Deathmatch, Control, Search and Destroy, Dominance, and Kill Confirmed modes familiar to fans of the series. But there will be completely new ones - VIP Escort, Combined Arms and Fireteam.
In VIP Escort, two teams of six must protect or destroy a randomly assigned VIP. The latter can only use a pistol, a smoke grenade and a drone. The team needs to escort the protected target to the extraction point while the enemy team tries to eliminate it.
Combined Arms is a 12v12 scale mode on extensive vehicle maps. Fireteam is a 40-player, 10-player mode where the outcome of the match is also influenced by the environment. Treyarch will tell you more about this later.
Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War launches on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and S on November 13th.
