The Realme brand, owned by Chinese smartphone maker OPPO, has continued its promotional campaign for the upcoming announcement of its flagship device, the Realme X, with new details on its specifications.
The brand has now confirmed that the Realme X smartphone will come with an in-display fingerprint sensor. Remarkably, the new model will use the next generation optical fingerprint sensor. Compared to the previous version of the sensor, the fingerprint recognition area in it is increased by 44%.
The day before, the manufacturer revealed in a teaser that the Realme X will have a camera with a 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 main sensor with an f/1,7 aperture, and, like the Realme 3 Pro, it will have a Nightscape mode for shooting in low light conditions.
Even earlier, the company announced that the smartphone will have an AMOLED display without a notch at the top.
According to a recent leak from the China Telecommunications Equipment Certification Authority (TENAA) database, the new flagship is equipped with a 6,5-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2340 Γ 1080 pixels (Full HD +), an octa-core processor with a clock frequency of 2,2 GHz and 4 GB of RAM, as well as a flash drive with a capacity of 64 GB and a slot for memory cards microSD. The smartphone will be powered by a 3680 mAh battery with support for VOOC 3.0 fast charging technology. The novelty will ship with Android 9 Pie out of the box with a proprietary ColorOS 6.0 user interface.
