The same market researcher had previously leaked that Apple is working on an updated MacBook Pro series consisting of a larger 16-16,5″ and 13-inch model that will have more advanced features than the current version, including maximum volume. RAM up to 32 GB. According to Mr. Kuo's original post, these laptops were scheduled to launch in 2019, but his latest figures indicate a launch in 2020 or even 2021.

The analyst initially questioned the 2019 date as too early, given that the current Apple MacBook Pro design is only three years old. However, this particular laptop design has been the subject of much criticism, including a botched key layout that Apple failed to fix last year, and "Flexgate" issues with screen cables. So it was easy to assume that Apple could speed up the refresh cycle of the MacBook Pro in order to eliminate the accumulated problems and bring a truly new and reliable product to the market.
