The WinFuture resource has released detailed technical specifications and renders of the Galaxy XCover 4s ruggedized smartphone, which Samsung is preparing for release.
The device will receive a 5-inch display with wide frames. The resolution will be 1280 × 720 pixels (HD format), pixel density - 294 PPI (dots per inch). Above the screen is a 5-megapixel front camera.
The “heart” of the smartphone is the proprietary Exynos 7885 processor. The chip combines eight processing cores and the Mali-G71 MP2 graphics accelerator. The amount of RAM is 3 GB.
The main camera is made in the form of a single module with a 16-megapixel sensor and a maximum aperture of f / 1,7. Power will be provided by a removable battery with a capacity of 2800 mAh.
Among other things, Wi-Fi adapters, Bluetooth, an NFC module, a 32 GB flash drive, a microSD card slot, a 3,5 mm headphone jack and a USB Type-C port are mentioned.
The smartphone is made in accordance with IP68 and MIL-STD 810G standards. The device is not afraid of water, drops from a height of up to 1,2 meters, shock and dust. The price will be approximately 250 euros.
