The project of the unique smartphone Energizer Power Max P18K Pop was able to collect only about 1% of the amount declared by the developer on the IndieGoGo crowdfunding platform.
Recall that the prototype of the device Energizer Power Max P18K Pop at the February exhibition MWC 2019. The main "chip" of the device was a battery of record capacity - 18 mAh. Then it was said that the battery life reaches 000 days in standby mode.
The downside of having such a powerful battery is the large thickness of the case - almost 20 mm. Externally, the smartphone literally looked like a brick.
Avenir Telecom, which produces smartphones under the Energizer brand, decided to raise money for organizing the production of the device through IndieGoGo. At the same time, an amount of $ 1,2 million was announced.
In fact, they managed to attract only about $15 thousand, so the project in its initial form turned out to be a failure.
However, Avenir Telecom is not discouraged: the company promises to continue working on improving the design of the smartphone and reducing its thickness. Perhaps at MWC 2020 a much more attractive version of the device will be presented from a consumer point of view.
