According to Artyom Russakovsky from Android Police, his Pixel 4 began to freeze constantly after the update. Stuttering occurs even when working with the smartphone menu. Most often, βbrakesβ are observed in the operation of applications such as Amazon, Twitter, YouTube, YouTube Music and Google Play Store. This information was confirmed by many Android 10 users who were also affected by the problem.
Most often, users of Google Pixel, Xiaomi and OnePlus smartphones encounter this problem. Additionally, the bug affects most devices running Android 10 and Android 11 developer edition. Users of custom firmware based on Android 10, such as AOSP and LineageOS, have also reported the problem.
