iPad Pro users complain about screen and keyboard issues

After Apple apologized for ongoing problems with the MacBook's butterfly keyboard, the company is now facing a growing number of complaints about the screen and virtual keyboard performance of the 2017 and 2018 iPad Pro tablets.

iPad Pro users complain about screen and keyboard issues

In particular, users on the MacRumors resource forum and in the Apple Support community write that iPad Pro tablets do not register touches, stutter when scrolling, and sometimes do not respond to keystrokes when typing.

For example, the owner of an iPad Pro tablet costing $1749 with 1 TB of flash memory and 6 GB of RAM running iOS 12.1.3 reported that problems with the screen began a few weeks ago.

β€œThe screen freezes. This has only appeared in the last few weeks and seems to be getting worse,” wrote user Codeseven on the MacRumors forum. β€œIt reacts as if the screen is very dirty or my finger is not fully touching the screen.”

Another user, the owner of a brand new 12,9” iPad Pro, said that certain buttons on the device’s virtual keyboard are not fixed, in particular the β€œo” key, which must be pressed several times before the press is recorded in the program.

The user tried to restore factory settings, but this did not help. He returned the defective tablet to the Apple Store and received a new 12,9" iPad Pro. However, the new device turned out to be even worse.
