Fully electric buses running in the Russian capital are becoming more and more popular. This is reported by the Official Portal of the Mayor and the Government of Moscow.

Electric buses began to carry passengers in Moscow in September last year. This type of transport reduces the level of harmful emissions into the atmosphere. Compared to trolleybuses, electric buses are characterized by a higher level of maneuverability.

Currently, more than 60 electric buses run in the Russian capital. For them, 62 charging stations have been installed, which continue to be connected to the energy infrastructure of Moscow.

“The passenger traffic of electric buses is constantly growing. If in January of this year they were used by 20 thousand people every day, then in March - already 30 thousand. The electric buses have carried more than 2,5 million passengers since launch.

It is also noted that Moscow electric buses are among the best in the world in terms of technical characteristics. The cars are equipped with a video surveillance system, USB connectors for recharging gadgets and climate control. In addition, free Wi-Fi Internet access is available to passengers.

The electric bus moves almost silently. You need to charge it using a pantograph at ultra-fast charging stations located at the final stops.
