The State Services Portal will provide access to electronic medical documents

Within five years, all state and municipal medical organizations in Russia will provide citizens with access to electronic medical documents through the State Services portal.

The State Services Portal will provide access to electronic medical documents

We are talking about the Federal project "Creation of a single digital circuit in healthcare based on the Uniform State Health Information System". It is implemented by the Russian Ministry of Health and the National Informatization Center (NCI) of the Rostec State Corporation. Information about the project was made public during the IV conference "Digital Industry of Industrial Russia".

The Uniform State Health Information System (Unified State Health Information System) will include a subsystem called the Federal Register of Electronic Medical Documents, developed at the NCI. It organizes the collection of information about electronic medical documents created in medical organizations.

The goal of the initiative is to provide citizens with electronic medical documents through the State Services portal and create conditions for the transition of medical organizations from paper to legally significant electronic medical document management.

The State Services Portal will provide access to electronic medical documents

It is assumed that by the end of this year, approximately 4% of medical organizations will begin to provide citizens with access to electronic medical documents through the My Health personal account on the State Services portal. Next year, the number of such organizations will grow to 20%, and by 2024 it will reach 100%.

Electronic document management in health care will simplify the procedures for obtaining a driver's license, registration of births and deaths, establishing a disability group, etc. In addition, the system will help eliminate the possibility of losing or distorting medical records.
