Developers from the Flashback Games studio have announced the release date for Panzer Corps 2, a turn-based strategy game about World War II. The project will be available in 19 March.
According to the developers, the second part "is completely focused on the quantity and quality of content." It will be possible to play for any of the parties involved in the war, and players will have over a thousand detailed models of units at their disposal. The authors claim that all models were recreated in accordance with historical prototypes: "You will not find any other game about the Second World War with such an amount of reliable military equipment."
A complex branching story campaign will offer over 60 scenarios. In addition to the campaign, 10 independent scenarios for a single player game and 10 more designed for network battles are additionally promised. Well, for those who are not enough, Flashback Games has prepared the "Battles" (Skirmish) mode with a random map generator of six different types and four types of tasks. It will be possible to fight not only against other players, but also together with them: in a cooperative mode against artificial intelligence.
Mod lovers can use the map editor, with which you can create both individual missions (single and network), and full-fledged story campaigns. Reception of pre-orders for Panzer Corps 2 starts on February 6th.
