Smartphone maker Samsung Electronics has postponed media events for its upcoming Galaxy Fold foldable smartphone launch scheduled for this week in Hong Kong and Shanghai, a company spokesman said on Monday. A company representative did not specify the reasons for the postponement and did not name new dates for the event. He confirmed that the firm was carefully defect reports and declined to comment on whether there would be any change in the release date for the foldable smartphone in the US.
