An estimated 430 8K TVs were shipped globally last year. This year, an almost fivefold increase is expected: shipments will reach 2 million units. And in 2022, the market volume in unit terms, according to analysts, will be about 9,5 million.

Experts believe that several factors will contribute to the growth in demand for 8K TV panels. These are falling prices, the emergence of relevant content in ultra-high definition and the development of fifth generation cellular networks (5G).
