Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord came out April 30 in Steam Early Access. The game immediately attracted a huge audience, although it was replete with errors. Developers from TaleWorlds Entertainment promptly corrected problems, but even now, two months after the release, users continue to encounter bugs. One of them looks pretty funny: the items “Continue game”, “Campaign” and “Custom battle” disappear from the Bannerlord menu.

Two people reported the error on the Reddit forum at once - Mynedras и jellysmacks. Both users posted a screenshot of the Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord start screen. The picture shows that the mentioned menu items have disappeared, and only "Options", "Exit" and the ability to view the list of developers remain. In the comments under the publication of Mynedras, they even joked: “Man, don’t worry, because you still have the best part of the game - the credits.”

The solution to the problem was suggested by a user under the nickname Lkoinw. To fix it, you need to go to the Configs folder in the Bannerlord root directory, find the LauncherData.xml file and uncheck the "Read Only" option in its properties. The error may occur after the game closes involuntarily.
