Disney+ streaming service coming to iOS, Apple TV, Android and consoles

The debut of Disney's long-awaited streaming service is fast approaching. Ahead of the Disney+ launch on November 12, the company shared more details about its offerings. We previously knew that Disney+ would be coming to smart TVs, smartphones, laptops, tablets and game consoles, but the only devices the company has revealed so far have been the Roku and the Sony PlayStation 4. Now, in addition to that, Disney has revealed that the service will also support iOS, Apple TV, Android, Android TV, Google Chromecast and Xbox One.

On Apple devices, according to Disney, people can sign up for the streaming service through an in-app purchase, making the signup process as easy as possible. The fact that Disney+ will have apps on all major platforms at launch is hardly surprising given the presence of other Disney apps like Hulu and ESPN+ on a wide range of platforms.

In the US, you can subscribe to Disney+ for $6,99 per month or $12,99 with Hulu (with ads) and ESPN+. Disney+ will include all of the company's films, Marvel Cinematic Comics, all seasons of The Simpsons and more, along with new exclusives and movies like The Mandalorian.

By the way, the US isn't the only country getting Disney+ on November 12th. Disney has announced that the service will be available on the same day in Canada and the Netherlands. On November 19, the service will be launched in Australia and New Zealand. In general, the company is going to deploy its service in the next two years in most major global markets.
