Sony Interactive Entertainment has announced an asymmetric network shooter Predator: Hunting Grounds, created with the support of Fox.
Predator: Hunting Grounds is being developed by IllFonic, which has behind it Friday the 13th: The Game, Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric, and even Star Citizen (Star Marine's shooter module). Its staff are fans of the Predator and have partnered with Sony Interactive Entertainment and Fox to bring the vision to fruition.
The concept of Predator: Hunting Grounds is "four players against one". A group of elite soldiers armed with shotguns, machine guns, sniper rifles and other weapons confront one Predator, who has silence, unsurpassed agility and alien technology.
The team of players will need to complete their tasks - kill enemies or find important objects - and the Predator at this time will have to stop them and kill everyone.
Predator: Hunting Grounds will be available for PlayStation 4 in 2020.
