Raspberry Pi 500 Computer and Raspberry Pi Monitor Unveiled

Following its traditions, the Raspberry Pi community, some time after the release of the Raspberry Pi 5 board, presents all fans of this computer with a New Year's gift in the form of the Raspberry Pi 500 keyboard computer. At the heart of this computer, nothing has changed dramatically since the Raspberry Pi 400. A different form factor of the original Raspberry Pi 5 board, equipped with 8 gigabytes of RAM, is used for production. Inside, there is the already known metal plate, responsible for the removal and distribution of heat inside the computer. The computer's specification is completely identical to the original board.

The Raspberry Pi line of devices has also been expanded, and now you can order a monitor for the computer itself.

The Raspberry Pi Monitor is an IPS LCD monitor that supports Full HD (1080p, 1920×1080) resolution, 16.2M color depth, and 250 nits brightness.

The monitor is equipped with two built-in 1.2 W speakers, a 3.5 mm audio output, and brightness and volume control buttons.

The monitor can be placed on a table using the built-in stand or mounted on a wall using a standard VESA 100x100 bracket.

Power is supplied via a regular USB port (USB-C), which allows the screen to be powered directly from the Raspberry Pi board's USB port - in this case, the maximum brightness will be limited to 60%, and the sound to 50%.
