The official Russian-language blog of Vivaldi has published an article discussing the reasons for the popularity of this browser among users of Linux operating systems. According to the developers, the share of Linux users who have chosen Vivaldi is five times greater than the share of Linux among operating systems.
The reasons for this popularity are the use of Chromium code, active work with the user community and the use of development principles adopted in the Linux environment.
The article also discusses issues related to the availability of Vivaldi source codes and explains the reasons for choosing a non-free license for the Vivaldi browser itself.
