Developers from studios Pendulo and YS Interactive have decided on a release date for the detective adventure Blacksad: Under the Skin. It will premiere on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC (Windows and macOS) on September 26.
In addition to the release date, the authors presented a new trailer that reveals the details of the plot and introduces us to the main character, and also talked about the collector's edition. The latter includes a game, an art book, and a figurine of the protagonist, cat detective John Blacksad. The publisher is Microids.
Blacksad: Under the Skin is a game based on the French comic Blacksad by Juan Diaz Canales. The setting is New York in the 1950s. The owner of a modest boxing club, Joe Dunn, was found hanged. Sonia Dunn, his daughter, becomes the new manager of the gym and must deal with financial problems. She hires private detective John Blacksad to investigate the disappearance of budding boxer Bobby Yale. "This ominous case will send our investigator into the darkest and most dreary depths of New York," the developers add.
