Of course, the slow black-and-white screens of e-books aren't great for gaming; but, oddly enough, a lot of games turned out to be quite efficient.

Logic, text and mathematical games turned out to be suitable for e-books. In a word - the most educational games that will be useful for children.
But, of course, it is necessary to keep in mind the very different levels of complexity of the games that passed the control: some of them are suitable for elementary school students and preschoolers, while others can even confuse adults.

They are related to another technical problem of screens: the presence of an "afterimage" from the previous "picture" on the screen.
If manufacturers have learned to successfully deal with this phenomenon when displaying texts (in ONYX BOOX e-books, this technology is called Snow Field), then on graphic or mixed pages, the βafterimageβ manifests itself in all its glory.
Since games are built mainly on two-dimensional graphics, in some cases the problem can significantly interfere with the game process.
To combat artifacts, it is recommended to study the instructions for the e-book, and if the book provides for the possibility of forced screen refresh using hardware or on-screen buttons, then it is recommended to use this option to βredrawβ the screen in cases where the level of artifacts becomes excessive. For example, in the e-book series
