Portal IGN published a recording of the first 15 minutes of the isometric shooter West of Dead. The game is being developed by Upstream Arcade and published by Raw Fury.
An IGN journalist played the beta version of West of Dead on a controller, based on the recommendation of the developers. As he described, it didn't take long before he really got a feel for the combat system, where you have two-handed weapons and various attachments.
West of Dead is set in 1888 in Purgatory, Wyoming. A dead man named William Mason comes to life, but remembers nothing of his past, except for a certain figure in black. In search of his memories, he will encounter witches and monsters. The gloomy locations of the project, inspired by the work of Mike Mignola (Mike Mignola), are procedurally generated.
