Samsung Mobile CEO DJ Koh told The Korea Herald that the company has "studied the defect caused by the substances (that got into the device)" and that a new release date for the foldable smartphone will be made in the next couple of days.
Apparently, the news about the final release date of the Galaxy Fold should be expected either at the end of this week, or at the latest, at the beginning of the next. Anyway, when Koch was asked if the smartphone could hit stores in the US this month, he replied, "We won't be too late."
At the moment, we know about two problems that experts encountered a few days after the start of operation of the Galaxy Fold. It turned out that removing the protective film can damage the screen. Also, a smartphone display malfunction can cause dust particles to enter through too large gaps in the hinge area.
