At the same time, sales grew by 30% in the same period, which allowed the shooter to bypass Sega's hospital simulator. Of course, if you add in digital sales figures, Two Point Hospital may have been the real leader, but so far there is no such data. The spiritual prototype of the game, Theme Hospital, took first place in the opening week back in 1997.
The most successful platform for Two Point Hospital was the Nintendo Switch, with 55% of physical sales coming from the hybrid system. PS4 accounted for 33% and Xbox One for 12%.
It wasn't the only debut last week: Rune Factory 4 Special for Switch was ranked 17th on the list. Interestingly, the Bayonetta & Vanquish 10th Anniversary compilation, which barely broke into the top ten in its debut week (February 16-22), this time dropped out of the top 40 best-selling games list altogether. And sales of Hunt: Showdown fell by 46%, with the game falling from 29th place to 40th.
from Ubisoft returned to the top ten best-selling games in Britain at number 7 (from 12th place), at No. 8 (vs. No. 17), and Crash Bandicoot Racing Nitro-Fueled moved up from No. 22 to No. 10 in a 35 percent jump in sales.
Curiously, there were two more games dedicated to kart racing on the charts: at #12 and Mario Kart 8: Deluxe at #6. A fairly quiet debut exclusive PS4 continues to perform well, with the creative game down 33% this week, but still in the top 19 at No. XNUMX.
