Redmi Note 8 sales exceed 10 million units, the company hints at Redmi K30

Redmi has officially announced that global sales of the Redmi Note 8 series have exceeded 10 million units within three months of launch. If we look at it statistically, this means that on average the Xiaomi-owned brand sold 110 thousand smartphones in this series daily. These are excellent figures for Redmi, which even managed to break the record of 10 million sales a month faster than in the case of Redmi Note 7.

Moreover, the company also said that it will soon announce something related to the upcoming launch of the Redmi K30 series, which will be the successor to the K20 (Xiaomi Mi 9T in the international market). We already know that the Redmi K30 will be equipped with a 6,6" IPS display with a perforation for a dual front camera (32 MP camera and ToF sensor) and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. It will be based on the Snapdragon 730G (essentially the same chip as in the Redmi K20); perhaps the 5G version will use a single-chip MediaTek Dimensity 1000 system. On the rear side there will be a quad camera, including a 60-megapixel main module with a Sony IMX686 sensor, an 8-megapixel telephoto lens, a 13-megapixel wide-angle module and a 2-megapixel camera. The new device will include a 5000 mAh battery with support for 27W high-speed charging.
