In terms of cumulative sales of smart TVs in January-November, Xiaomi reportedly ranked first in the Chinese TV market. This means that, according to statistics, the company managed to outperform even well-known TV manufacturers in this market like Skyworth, Hisense, TCL and so on.
Initially, the Chinese tech giant entered the smart TV market back in 2013 - now the head of Xiaomi's TV division has announced that the company has achieved its goal of taking the top spot in China. In addition, Xiaomi's head of sales and operations, Jiang Cong, also boasted about this achievement on his official Weibo account.
Mr. Jiang also mentioned that sales figures are showing strong growth, so everything points to the possibility of Xiaomi once again becoming the first in China's smart TV market. Top management represented by the founder and head of Xiaomi Lei Jun (Lei Jun) announced sales of 10 million TVs in the Chinese market even before the official announcement of the report on December 24, 2019:
