Developers from the American studio Re-Logic announced that the total sales of the sandbox adventure reached an impressive 30 million copies.
Predictably, the game performed best on PC - 14 million copies. Mobile devices account for 8,7 million copies, while home and portable consoles are the least at 7,6 million copies.
According to the developers, the pace of sales of Terraria is now better than ever. For comparison: Re-Logic celebrated its sandbox adventure in February 2017.
βTo say that we are blown away by the amount of your years of support and love would be a huge understatement. We can only hope to repay you by creating amazing games (whether it be Terraria or other projects),β Re-Logic is sure.
The authors also reminded that already "soon" Terraria will receive its latest content update - Journey's End. The patch will add 800 items, an additional difficulty level, and a golf mini-game.
In honor of a significant achievement, the developers decided to reduce the price of and its official soundtrack by 50%. Until April 3, the game can be purchased for 124 rubles, and the music for it - for 66 rubles.
Terraria was released in May 2011 on PC, and since then has managed to visit PS3, PS4, PS Vita, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Nintendo 3DS, Wii U and Nintendo Switch, as well as mobile devices running iOS and Android.
