Walk through Raccoon City in new Resident Evil 3 Remake gameplay demo

On the late evening of March 4, Capcom held a livestream showing over 20 minutes of gameplay from Resident Evil 3 Remake in English.

The official recording of the broadcast is currently available exclusively on Capcom Twitch channel, and unofficial ones have already appeared on YouTube. The version below contains only the gameplay portion of the stream.

The main character of Resident Evil 3 in the video is managed by the community manager of the British branch of Capcom Kat (Kat), also known under the pseudonym Katastrophe. The girl not only comments on what is happening, but also notes the references hidden in the remake.

Kat did not make any tangible progress during her session (there are no spoilers in the video). Instead, the broadcast host focused on demonstrating various gameplay mechanics.

As Kat proved time and again during the stream, it is not so easy to perform the perfect dodge in the remake. Missing the timing, the heroine will fall into the clutches of zombies. You can get out of the grip with less health loss if you quickly press the desired button.

Compared to the second part, there are noticeably more living dead on the streets of Raccoon City in Resident Evil 3. Fortunately, the developers have placed explosive barrels in levels that can send a group of enemies to the next world at once.

Resident Evil 3 Remake, bundled with online action game Resident Evil Resistance, will release on April 3 on PC (Steam), PS4 and Xbox One. Capcom previously confirmed that ahead of the release the game will get a demo.
