March 11 company Valve published on the page of her project on GitHub information about the release of a new version of the Proton 5.0-4 package for running Windows games. The project is based on Wine 5.0, and the main task is to launch games developed for Windows and placed in the Steam directories.
Main changes of the new version:
- Fixed bugs in the launcher Electronic Arts Origin.
- Game work fixed Jedi Fallen Order.
- Grand Theft Auto V Online no longer crashes on startup.
- Fixed work issues Revealed DRM when starting games Just Cause 3 и Batman Arkham Knight.
- Improved performance Monster Hunter World.
- В Ryse: Son of Rome fixed mouse cursor issues.
- Decreased game launch time.
- DXVK extension updated to version 1.5.5.
