One of our main principles is transparency. You must know About uslike our products may or may not protect youand how we keep your data safe. We believe this level of transparency is the only way to earn the trust of our community.

Open source has always been our goal. In 2015 we opened the source of the web application. Then there was open app for iOS, later Proton Mail Bridgeand sources of all ProtonVPN clients and other components.

Our goal is to ensure security, privacy and freedom on the Internet. That's why we are active supporters of the free software community. We maintain two open source cryptographic libraries, OpenPGPjs ΠΈ GopenPGPto make it easier for developers to encrypt their applications and thus protect more data.

So all non-beta Proton applications are now fully open!

Also, to cope with the influx of new users during the pandemic, ProtonVPN added more than 50 new servers in 17 countries.
