As we recently reported, Samsung is preparing to release a mid-range smartphone Galaxy A20e. Information about this device appeared on the website of the US Federal Communications Commission (FCC).
The device appears under the code designation SM-A202F/DS. It is reported that the novelty will receive a display measuring 5,8 inches diagonally. The screen resolution has not been specified, but it will most likely be an HD+ format panel.
The basis will serve as a proprietary Exynos 7885 processor. The chip combines eight cores: a Cortex-A73 duo with a clock speed of up to 2,2 GHz and a Cortex-A53 sextet with a clock frequency of up to 1,6 GHz. Graphics processing is the task of the Mali-G71 MP2 integrated accelerator.
The amount of RAM will be 3 GB. Power will be provided by a rechargeable battery with a capacity of 3000 mAh.
In the back of the case there will be a dual camera and a fingerprint scanner for biometric identification of users by fingerprints.
The Android 9.0 Pie operating system will be used as a software platform on the device.
The official presentation of the Samsung Galaxy A20e smartphone is expected next week - April 10.
