JΓ©rΓ΄me Charaoui from the Tor project sysadmin team published a letter from Roskomnadzor forwarded by the German hosting operator Hetzner, which hosts one of the mirrors of the torproject.org website. The project did not receive the letters directly, and the authenticity of the sender is still in question. The letter indicates that the site www.torproject.org has been included in the unified registry of domain names used to identify sites containing information prohibited for distribution in the Russian Federation.
If no measures are taken to remove prohibited information, access to the www.torproject.org website in the Russian Federation will be limited.
