The next version has been released QMapShack — programs for working with various online mapping services (WMS), GPS tracks (GPX/KML) and raster and vector map files. The program is a further development of the project QLandkarte GT and is used to plan and analyze the routes of trips and hikes.
The prepared route can be exported to different formats and used on different devices and in different navigation programs during the trip.
The main functions:
- Simple and flexible use of vector, raster and online maps;
- Use of altitude data (off-line and on-line);
- Creation/planning of routes and tracks with different routers;
- Analysis of recorded data (tracks) from various navigation and fitness devices;
- Editing planned/passed routes and tracks;
- Storage of photos with reference to waypoints;
- Structured data storage in databases or files;
- Direct connection for reading and writing to modern navigation and fitness devices.
