ITMO University students who prove themselves during classes can get involved in various R&D projects. They are carried out by order of manufacturing enterprises of the country. I work as an engineer in the Laboratory for Assembly and Adjustment of Light Guide Photonics Devices at ITMO University's Light Guide Photonics Research Center. I participate in the development and testing of prototypes of light guide photonics devices. I am engaged in coaxial alignment of optical fibers.

Since the fourth year of my bachelor's degree, I have been engaged in scientific activities in the laboratories of the university. Initially, it was laser processing of silicon, and already in the master's program I managed to connect to R&D and develop a laser module for additive technologies. This R&D became my main job for quite a long time, because the process of developing a real device is a very exciting experience.
At the moment, I am intensively preparing for the exams for admission to graduate school. I would like to try to realize myself in the scientific field.

I am an engineer in a scientific laboratory for the development and production of fiber-optic gyroscopes at JSC Concern Central Research Institute Elektropribor. I am engaged in joining an optical fiber with a multifunctional integrated optical circuit made on a lithium neobate crystal.
