A fresh build of Raspbian, the Debian distribution for the Raspberry Pi, has been published.
There is little interesting, the key:
- Improved SDL and pixman performance
- Disabling overscan (black frame around the edges of the display to equalize the resolution) is available from the first setup menu
- Showing foreign volumes on the desktop is enabled by default
- Improved wpa_passphrase support in network plugin
- Added ethtool and rng-rools to the base distribution
- Fresh Chromium, VLC, RealVNC and Flash
- Kernel 4.14.98
