The enthusiast did not explain which model of the GeForce RTX 3080 ROG STRIX is in the frame - with factory overclocking, without it, or the Advanced version. But as VideoCardz points out, all versions of the GeForce RTX 3080 ROG STRIX cards use the same and very large circuit board. At the same time, the STRIX OC version is currently the most productive among all GeForce RTX 3080 options on the market. The declared frequency of its GA102-300 GPU is 1935 MHz.

In the video, the enthusiast pointed out that the cooling system of the novelty is very heavy, includes two large radiators and seven heat pipes assembled in a copper base. For reliability, the card is equipped with a very thick back plate, as well as a rigid frame. The board itself uses an impressive 22-phase GPU and memory power subsystem, and is also equipped with a dual BIOS system, which allows you to choose a quiet or maximum performance mode. Among other features, the enthusiast highlighted the presence of PCON1 and PCON2 contacts for direct voltage control, as well as two connectors for connecting additional fans.

According to ASUS technical product manager Juan Jose Guerrero, the GeForce RTX 3080 ROG STRIX series of graphics cards will go on sale on September 28, that is, from the beginning of next week.
