Toge Productions has announced that barista simulator Coffee Talk will be released not only on PC, but also on Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
Coffee Talk is set in an alternate Seattle. Various fantasy creatures such as elves and orcs live side by side with humans in the modern world. You play the role of a barista in a coffee shop. You will have to fulfill the orders of visitors, listen to them and help them, including with your skillfully prepared drinks. The development of the plot is based precisely on the latter, and not on the choice in dialogues.
βImmerse yourself in the stories of the inhabitants of an alternative Seattle, ranging from a dramatic love story between an elf and a succubus, to an alien who tries to understand the lives of people. These are stories of people just like you, modern readers, who will not leave you indifferent,β the description says. Coffee Talk's visual style draws on pixel art and 90s anime with a calm color palette. And the soundtrack includes a selection of jazz and lo-fi music.
Coffee Talk will be available in 2019. The game will be released in Japan in the fall, most likely in the West too.
