Representatives of KaiOS Technologies say that the money received will help the company to promote the mobile platform to new markets. In addition, the developer intends to continue developing a number of products that will expand the mobile OS ecosystem and help attract new content developers.

It is worth noting that Google not only invests heavily in the development of KaiOS, but also helps with the integration of its own services into the mobile platform. First of all, we are talking about such popular services as Google Maps, YouTube, Google Assistant, etc.

The developer also announced that more than 100 million devices based on KaiOS have been sold worldwide so far. Feature phones based on KaiOS have become very popular in a number of countries in the African region, where even a small difference in price plays an important role for buyers. In the future, the company intends to continue developing the platform, creating new services, applications, and involving third-party developers in this process.
