Among the areas of expertise of a potential employee at Naughty Dog are the architecture of current video cards (AMD GCN and NVIDIA CUDA), as well as DirectX 12, Vulkan, and "other modern graphics or computing APIs."

Since the PlayStation 4, Sony's home consoles have been based on AMD technologies, so the mention of NVIDIA, DirectX 12 and Vulkan in the context of the job is at least noteworthy.

The studio's wanted graphics programmer will work directly on The Last of Us Part II, creating and integrating "rendering technologies" along with "industry-defining visuals."

Formerly Naughty Dog hinted at the development multiplayer The Last of Us Part II, which can become a standalone game. The release of the network battle-oriented projects of their studios on the PC at Sony was discussed in August last year.

Japanese single-player games may also go beyond PlayStation: Jason Schreier of Kotaku predicted soon PC release Horizon Zero Dawn, and Tom Phillips from Eurogamer hinted at Dreams.

The Last of Us Part II is expected to release on PS4 on May 29 this year. The game was originally planned to be released in February, however, the developers realized that do not have time bring the project to the desired level of quality by the target date.
