Eurogamer published regarding the future plans of 11 bit Studios. Developers ΠΈ are working on a new game called Project 8. The authors hardly share the details of the upcoming project, but promise users a new experience when playing through it.
11 bit Studios promised to make its next work less dark, but it, like the companyβs previous games, touches on important life topics. The team's lead designer, Marta Fijak, commented on the development of Project 8: βWhen people talk about Frostpunk and This War of Mine, they see gloom and depression in them. I think this is an erroneous judgment. Our projects provide important experience. In the first case, it is to understand how far one can go in order to survive, and in the second, to see the problems of the civilian population in the midst of a military conflict. The authors promise to preserve the corporate identity and release Project 8 simultaneously on PC and consoles. Most likely, this means the next generation, since the game will not appear until 2021. Development started in April 2018, and now the preparatory stage is just finishing.
