First, research and travel. Exploring the planet together is designed to relax players, while the sliding mechanics used to move around are designed to give the feeling of skiing together.

Second, the battles. The battles take place in real time and require the cooperation of the main characters: the system is built in such a way that the user wants to optimize his actions, like in a rhythm game.


Thirdly, rest in the "Nest". Between sorties, the characters return to their ship, where they can do crafting, cooking (eating increases efficiency in combat), and developing relationships.

In addition, the game is much more willing to give out experience points not for participating in battles, but for spending time together: "This distinguishes Haven, because this aspect is usually skipped in RPGs."

Recall that Haven is a fantastic role-playing action game and tells the story of lovers Yu and Kei, who fled to a forgotten planet to find their place in the world.

Haven is in development for PC (only confirmed on Steam for now), PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Nintendo Switch. The premiere is expected before the end of 2020, but the developers are in no hurry to share the exact release date.
