The studio wants to create far-reaching franchises. The "first universe", as the developers said, will be Corner Wolves.

β€œBrass Lion is focused on creating original fictional universes that emphasize black and brown characters, cultures and histories, which we are now sorely lacking,” Hare wrote in a blog post. β€œOur goal at Brass Lion Entertainment is to diversify the video game industry, one fictional universe at a time, and expand it into other forms of entertainment such as movies, TV shows, comics and podcasts. We want all players to be excited about our franchises, regardless of [preferences]."

The Brass Lion Entertainment team has previously worked on Fallout 3, Mass Effect 3, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim ΠΈ Sleeping Dogs.

β€œWe look forward to using this experience to create our own franchises that can take shape in video games, movies, TV shows, comics, novels, podcasts and other media formats,” Hare wrote. β€œA property like Black Panther shows that you can authentically show black and brown characters, be creative, and still get a worldwide audience. We hope to use this as a model for how to build our own original universes."

So, Brass Lion Entertainment announced Corner Wolves. The game will take place in Harlem in the mid-nineties. Jacinte, a young African-American woman, sets out to find her father's killer. Corner Wolves will tell the stories of young people who grew up in the same neighborhood; about how their lives are shaped and defined by the war on drugs, how they find themselves between drug dealers, scammers and the police.

It is known that the script Corner Wolves writes the author of the comic book "The Rise of the Black Panther" Evan Narcisse (Evan Narcisse). And on the soundtrack Brass Lion Entertainment is working with music producer Just Blaze.

β€œBoth of these people grew up in the New York area, know Harlem, and are some of the best in the business,” Hare wrote. β€œWe are extremely excited to be working with them on the Corner Wolves universe and bringing it to life in various forms.”

Brass Lion Entertainment also creates other universes besides Corner Wolves. According to Hare, this is just the beginning.

β€œWe hope to be a force for positive change that allows people to have more choices when it comes to increasing sources of entertainment,” Hare said. β€œWe believe that Brass Lion Entertainment can be an integral part of the black and brown stories and experiences of historically excluded people in video games and entertainment.”
