The creators of Shenmue 3 spoke about plans to launch the project on PC. In September 2019, they will launch a test version of the game and begin returning funds to upset donors who are unhappy with the PC version's exclusivity on the Epic Games Store.
Ys Net will conduct an email survey to remind players of their choice of platform to receive a digital copy of the game. Refunds to PC will begin after completion. Anyone will be able to request a refund within two weeks of the survey. The developers will send the money within three months.
The company explained such a long return by the fact that the project has been in development for four years and the complex system of payment of funds.
