On May 15, the Realme brand (a division of Oppo) will present its first smartphones in China. The company recently confirmed that Realme X will be the first such device. Rumor has it that may debut alongside Realme X as Realme X Youth Edition (or Realme X Lite). And recently, Realme, through a publication on the Weibo social network, officially confirmed some of the features of the Realme X smartphone for the first time.
The company said that the device has minimal bezels, and the design will include an AMOLED screen that occupies 91,2% of the total front side area. In addition, the manufacturer promised that the front camera mechanism will be quite reliable and will be able to provide 200 extensions over its life cycle. It seems that the company will continue to share information about the various features of Realme X before the launch.
According to rumors, the Realme X display diagonal will be 6,5β³ at Full HD + resolution, and the smartphone will receive a brand new Snapdragon 730 single-chip system (eight Kryo 470 CPU cores with a frequency of up to 2,2 GHz, Adreno 618 GPU and Snapdragon X15 LTE modem). At the back, there will supposedly be a dual camera with 48 million and 5 million pixels sensors.
It is claimed that Realme X will be equipped with a 3680 mAh battery (with VOOC 3.0 fast charging technology) and will be sold in configurations with 6/64 GB, 6/128 GB or 8/128 GB memory. These models will allegedly cost 1599 Yuan (~$237), 1799 Yuan (~$267) and 1999 Yuan (~$297) respectively. The characteristics of the pop-up camera for self-portraits are unknown. The product is expected to be the first Realme phone to feature an in-display fingerprint scanner.
There is no information on the cost of the Realme X Youth Edition variant yet. But this device will allegedly receive a 6,3-inch IPS screen with a waterdrop notch, a Snapdragon 710 single-chip system, up to 6 GB of RAM, a flash drive with a maximum capacity of 128 GB, a more capacious 4045 mAh battery (VOOC 3.0 available), a bunch of 16-megapixel and 5-megapixel rear cameras and a 25-megapixel front camera.
