From October 22 to October 31, owners of such devices as Redmi K11, Redmi Y20, Redmi 3, Redmi Note 7, Redmi Note 7S, Redmi Note 7 Pro and POCO F7 can count on updates with the MIUI 1 shell. The next wave, which starts on November 4 and ends on November 12, includes more smartphones: Redmi K20 Pro, Redmi 6, Redmi 6 Pro, Redmi 6A Redmi Note 5, Redmi Note 5 Pro, Redmi 5, Redmi 5A, Redmi Note 4, Redmi Y1, Redmi Y1 lite, Redmi Y2, Redmi 4, Mi Mix 2 and Mi Max 2.

The third update phase will begin on November 13, which includes Redmi Note 6 Pro, Redmi 7A Redmi 8, Redmi 8A, and Redmi Note 8. Finally, the only device included in the fourth phase of the MIUI 11 rollout (December 18-26) will be Redmi Note 8 pro. It is worth recalling that updating to MIUI 11 does not at all mean that Android 10 is required in the firmware - this is true only for relatively fresh flagship devices.

MIUI 11 is a major update for Xiaomi that changes a lot in the popular shell. First of all, we are talking about visual changes like softer icons, dark mode support, a new Mi Lan Pro system font, and an improved always-on display feature. There are also new animations, themes, wallpapers and an optimized notification system.

Another big innovation in MIUI 11 is improved sound with brand new dynamic effects and audio signals. Xiaomi also announced the new Mi Go Travel package, which will help you book tickets for a wide range of transport - from airplanes to trains and buses, includes a currency converter and an extreme power saving mode.
