CrossOver 21.2 release for Linux, Chrome OS and macOS

CodeWeavers has released the release of the Crossover 21.2 package, based on the Wine code and designed to run programs and games written for the Windows platform. CodeWeavers is one of the key contributors to the Wine project, sponsors its development and returns to the project all the innovations implemented for its commercial products. In the new version:

  • The Wine Mono engine with .NET platform implementation has been updated to release 7.0.
  • Ported fixes from Wine 6.0.1 and 6.0.2 updates.
  • Ported about 300 improvements to the WineD3D library.
  • Sound work in the game "Halo: Master Chief Collection" is provided.
  • Addresses rendering issues in Office 365 that occur on Linux and Chrome OS.
  • Resolved an issue with very long connection times after a Steam update.
  • Mouse issues in games based on the Unity engine have been resolved on macOS. Improved work on systems with Apple M1 processor.
  • Fixed dependency issues for libldap that appeared on newer Linux distributions such as Ubuntu 21.10.
