ClearOS 7.6 distribution release

Took place Linux distribution release Clear OS 7.6, built on the CentOS package base and Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.6. The distribution kit is intended for use as a server operating system in small and medium-sized organizations, including for linking remote offices into a single network infrastructure. ClearOS includes tools for protecting the local network, monitoring external threats, filtering web content and spam, organizing messaging and files, deploying a server for centralized authorization and LDAP-based authentication, using it as a domain controller for a Windows PC, maintaining services for electronic mail. When used to create a network gateway, DNS, NAT, proxy, OpenVPN, PPTP, bandwidth management, and organizing Internet access services through several providers are supported. Configuration of all aspects of the distribution and package management is done through a specially created web-interface.

In the new release, except changes borrowed from RHEL 7.6, support for annotation libraries is introduced for storage additional metadata on the IMAP server side, including annotations, supported in Cyrus IMAP. Also included are tools for managing and diagnosing servers through iLO 5 and AMIBIOS (for HPE MicroServer Gen10). The NextCloud cloud storage platform is integrated into the business edition.
