Submitted by distribution release Manjaro Linux 19.0, built on Arch Linux and aimed at beginners. Distribution remarkable the presence of a simplified and user-friendly installation process, support for automatic detection of equipment and installation of the drivers necessary for its operation. Manjaro supplied as live builds with KDE (2.8 GB), GNOME (2.5 GB) and Xfce (2.6 GB) graphical environments. With the participation of the community additionally are developing builds with Budgie, Cinnamon, Deepin, LXDE, LXQt, MATE and i3.

To manage repositories, Manjaro uses its own toolkit BoxIt, designed in the image of Git. The repository is maintained on the principle of continuous inclusion of updates (rolling), but new versions go through an additional stage of stabilization. In addition to its own repository, there is support for using AUR repository (Arch User Repository). The distribution is equipped with a graphical installer and a graphical interface for system configuration.

GNOME offers a desktop skin switcher with Manjaro, Vanilla GNOME, Mate/GNOME2, Windows, macOS, and Unity/Ubuntu themes. The Pamac package manager has been updated to release 9.3. Enabled by default support for self-contained packages in snap and flatpak formats, which can be installed through the new application management interface Bark.
