Submitted by release of a specialized distribution Tails 4.4 (The Amnesic Incognito Live System), based on the Debian package base and designed to provide anonymous access to the network. Anonymous exit to Tails is provided by the Tor system. All connections, except traffic through the Tor network, are blocked by default by the packet filter. Encryption is used to store user data in the save user data between runs mode. Ready for download iso image (1 GB) capable of working in Live mode.

In the new version, Tor Browser has been updated to release 9.0.6 (not yet officially announced at the time of writing), synchronized with the Firefox 68.6.0 ESR codebase. Also updated kernel Linux 5.4.19, Thunderbird 68.5.0,
cURL 7.64.0, evince 3.30.2, Pillow 5.4.1, WebKitGTK 2.26.4,
virtualbox 6.1.4. Added missing firmware for wireless cards based on Realtek RTL8822BE/RTL8822CE chips.

Addendum: Official released Tor Browser 9.0.6 based on Firefox 68.6.0, which also updated NoScript 11.0.15 and banned download CSS-embedded (via "src:url(data:application/x-font-*)") external fonts in "Safest" mode.

The developers also warned about the remaining unfixed bug that allows you to organize the execution of JavaScript code in the "Safest" protection mode. The problem has not yet been resolved, therefore, for those to whom the prohibition of JavaScript execution is important, it is recommended to completely disable the use of JavaScript in the browser for a while in about:config by changing the javascript.enabled parameter in about:config.
